My Very First Tablescape Thursday!

Thank you, Susan, for hosting Tablescape Thursday...so many beautiful and unique table settings that can be seen by clicking on the picture below!

Since my son will be joining us for dinner tonight, I decided to do an informal 'Texas' theme...hence the Shoulda Been A Cowboy sign! (The Houston Rodeo and Livestock Show is just around the corner, so I'm getting in the mood!)

A boot frame displays the menu for the evening.

An old purse I use for decorating in the game room works great for holding a plant for the centerpiece.

I've really enjoyed these red plates I purchased at Marshall's before the holidays. They are so versatile....I can use them for just about every holiday! The salad/dessert plates were also a Home Goods find...on clearance no less!

I love it! Especially using the purse as part of the centerpiece. Very creative.

I love cowboy decor, but it doesn't go with anything in my house.

That frame is one of the cutest I've ever seen. Love the way you used it in the tablescape. I am a big fan of the plant you used in your centerpiece. Even I have managed to make that plant live. Love the way your place setting looks so casual but very refined at the same time.

Very beautiful table Lynda! the placemats are great. Your son will like this.
I do love your Red plates from Marshalls. I have been so pleased with the quality of dishes they carry.
I was looking for your folloers button and couldn't find it. If you end up setting it up I'll follow along.
Thanks for the kindness on my Roo table. It was a fun one!
