Thank you, Susan, for hosting another fun 'Outdoor Wednesday'!
My tulip magnolia was in full bloom last year! Usually we get a freeze right before it buds out, and I lose half the blooms.

These beautiful daylilies are only a couple of the many given to me by a dear sweet cyberfriend who hyberdizes them.

Beautiful pics! We are addicted to daylilies. I can't wait until they start again. Is it time yet? ;-)
Love the REDBUD! I have a sweet story on my blog under my first Tablescape that mentions a lady named Willie that was in a coma that had promised me a redbud tree. She rec'd a miracle and walked me through her garden later that fall to give me my Redbud tree she promised me! The Redbud tree always signifies her miracle healing to me! ;) ~CC Catherine
I have always loved redbud trees. They were my mother's favorite. And I am crazy about daylilies, too! Yours are lovely.
Happy Outdoor Wednesday!

Thanks for sharing your photos...have a great day!

Wow, your blossoms really tug at my heart. We left the deep South to move way out west where not much except cactus thrives. At our last house our son planted a redbud tree that was exactly his height. We visited there a few years later and that tree is tall and lush. I adore the birdhouse by your porch column!
Blessings, Lana
It seems that my tulip tree always blooms the day before a hard rain!
Then I lose my blooms too. The first daylilly is really unique.

Hey Lynda,
Thanks for stopping by Carolina Panache. I have a Tulip Magnolia tree too! Two years ago it was blooming beautifully and then we got a late frost, and like overnight the tree just lost all of it's blooms. My husband is much more the gardener than me, so we pruned it back some that year and this past spring it was breathtaking! I wasn't familiar with Tulip Magnolias until we bought this house three years ago. My neighbor told me what it was. They are lovely. I also love your Redbud. I don't have any of those on the property but I have Cherry trees and Bradford Pear trees. I love trees that bloom. Thanks for sharing.
Warmly,
Alisa - Carolina Panache
