Pink Saturday!

Thank you, Beverly, of How Sweet the Sound for graciously hosting another 'Pink Saturday'!

This doll sits in the rocker I had as a young child. I bought her on QVC back when U.S. artisans were featured on a regular basis. I miss those programs, because I was able to purchase some very unique and well-made items from talented crafters in other states.

I started this cross stitch about 18 years ago, and have yet to finish it! There is another one in the set, and hopefully, I'll complete them both some day.

I thought this pillow said it well when my children were all still living at home!

Your doll is so cute. It made me laugh when you said you started that needlepoint 18 years ago. I think I could probably find one just like it.

Such sweet photos for Pink Saturday. Love the doll and pillow. Just wanted to encourage you to finish the cross stitch. It's so pretty and you will have such a sense of accomplishment when it's completed. Look, tulips for springtime. Go, girl, go!

Hi Lynda,
Beautiful pictures! You should finish your cross stitch project! I have challenged myself this year to get out the projects left unfinished - and finish them up. I have been writing about them on wednesdays and calling it my W.I.P. wednesday (work in progress wednesday) It has helped me stay accountable when I have to show what I am working on each week. The wonderful thing is - I am actually finishing them!

I am encouraging others to join me - I don't know about you- but I am so inspired by seeing what others are working on - just like YOU inspired me today by your lovely cross-stitch.
Glad you stopped by on Pink Saturday to visit - it's nice to meet you!
Kymber
